Guests at our cozy beach house on the shores of Lake Huron often tell us that they love the laidback surf and tropical vibes at surfhütte, as we do, and it got us thinking about how we could bottle that beach vacation feeling to take home when the holiday ends. Our solution? The surfhütte beach accessories and home décor collection handmade from mostly upcycled, vintage textiles and thrifted treasures. Beach bags made from retro beach towels, Hawaiian shirts remade into totes, pretty cotton double-sided dinner napkins, appliquéd sunset and pineapple throw cushions - all conjure nostalgia for summers past - and future.
